Scintillation, a wonderful experimental film!

Scin­til­la­tion is an exper­i­men­tal film made up of over 35,000 pho­tographs. It com­bines an inno­v­a­tive mix of stop motion and live pro­jec­tion map­ping tech­niques. Directed by Xavier Chassaing.

  1. great, amaz­ing pre­ci­son
    i got reminded that a few years ago wired mag men­tioned some three nor­we­gian guys who had a patent to some kind of dig­i­tal paper, that’d be able to con­nect to a com­puter in both direc­tions, as input and as out­put. later, upon some other text (from the web, where else), i con­cluded that philips.nl bought either their whole startup or the patent only — so one could expect the wall­pa­pers doing this sort of things some time soon. (if they do not decide that bor­ing, ugly spare-lamps are good enough to run the busi­ness for a cou­ple of more decades.) for now that tech is care­fully being intro­duced for the small­est pur­poses, as the link below would show.

    good news is: from the moment it’s out we’d never have to paint the walls again!
