A pre­cious live record­ing of VDGG at it’s best. By all means they explored the lim­its of rock music. While Hammill’s lyrics – con­sid­ered being ‘too seri­ous’ – never helped them to become as famous as they truly deserved, his way of singing influ­enced many great vocal­ists later on.
